~ PROGRAM ~

   Are you working with
  • Difficult business situations (including church “politics”)
  • Problems with family members
  • Midlife crisis…?

Conflict and tough opponents are rarely welcome events.  Yet, have your circumstances ever improved without some sort of challenge to urge them forward?  Although, not our favorite experiences, each problem brings potential for opportunity, growth and learning.  The more we know about conflict, and how those within it operate, the better we can harness its natural potential.

Deidre Combs will provide a highly interactive and fun program that explores conflict's characteristics and how to "play" the universal game.  By employing common cross-cultural techniques, we will:
  • Identify our elemental conflict personalities
  • Uncover conflict's four key stages and the best
       strategies to use in each
  • Learn four techniques to keep the players off  the
sidelines and working together toward resolution
  • Explore how different opponent types each
       require special handling
BIO: Dr. Deidre Combs is the author of The Way of Conflict, Worst Enemy and Best Teacher.  She speaks nationally on cross-cultural dispute resolution strategies within diverse organizations and education.  She combines over twenty years of corporate experience with a decade of meditation and coaching to support teams and their leaders in transition.  Her clients have included Aveda Corporation, Landmine Survivors Network, Young Presidents Organization, US Postal Service and the US Forest Service.  Dr. Combs is an interfaith minister and a facility member of Wisdom University, Naropa University and Montana State University.
